Tana river Festival
The Tana River Festival is Kenya first ever whitewater kayaking festival. The third annual event will take place on the Tana River, in Central Kenya.
The festival aims to bring together the East African and International whitewater community for a weekend of fun and challenging competitions on Kenya’s most famous river. The festival hopes to increase the participation of Kenyans in the sport, while encouraging international paddlers to come to Kenya to experience the world-class whitewater.
5km Slalom course placed down the infamous ‘Orgasmic Spasm’ rapid, adjacent to the Mission, Including a boof over the sticky drop ‘St. Joseph’, challenging moves to reach gates on a steep, rocky rapids. Event requires participants to complete three runs, best time wins.

All meals are included. Camping is at the Savage Wilderness Campsite in two man tents sharing.
