Welcome to South Coast
South of Mombasa to the border with Tanzania, lies one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in Africa, edged with mangrove forests inviting you to walk while you feel the sands between your toes. Try some extreme water sports, a camel ride for the tourist experience or book a bike tour inland for a glimpse of life in the local villages.
Get caught up in the Swahili rhythms and the rise and fall of the tides, life here moves to its own beat. Thanks to the history of trade between Africa, India and Arabia, the coast has a unique feel, different to the rest of Kenya. Its people, the coastal people, have created a real passion you will feel in their way of life and flavor of their food.
