Mud Run

The event is a celebration of country lifestyles and living. The 2021 event will be centred around the Mad ” Mud Run” to be held in July, 2021.
Participants also get to enjoy the following activities taking place throughout the weekend:- Craft fair, Car Boot Sale, Archery or Footgolf and there will be a bonfire and various folk festivities on the evening so bring some extra spending money to enjoy all there is to offer.
Mud Run
Teams: Teams are comprised of 04 members one of whom should assigned to be the team captain and coordinator Team captains will be held responsible for the safety of their team member All entrants will be required to sign a disclaimer prior to entering Individual entrants into the Mud Run will be assigned a team once the registration deadline has passed.
Teams will meet each other on the day of the Mud Run and will need to identify a team captain who will be responsible for the team. The deadline for registration of teams and individual entrants will be ………… Entrance fees for the Mud run must have been fully paid to confirm entry. Each team will be assigned a starting time for the Mud run and will be required to be ready at the start area at least 15 minutes prior to their starting time. There are a limited number of spaces available. Teams will be assigned on a first come, first served basis, upon full payment of the entry fee. ( Entry for the event closes 7 days prior to the start of the event or when all the slots are sold out)
Camping & meals
Dinner and breakfast will be provided, you will cater for your own lunch, there will be a food court running for the duration of the event. We will be camping at the Kembu Campsite in 2 man tents sharing.
Conservation
Profits from The UpCountry Fair & Mud Run events will beused to support those underfunded guardians of the Mau & Loindiani Forests. Buying good waterproofs, good backpacks, sleeping bags and tents, and a few sets of waterproof VHF radios with solar chargers. Funds will also be used to employ members of the local communities to help improve the trails used for patrolling the forests; some of which have been washed away to become slippery and dangerously steep with the passage of time.

Dress Code
Casual. Comfortable athletic clothing, hiking shoes, hat, water proofs and warm jacket; (participants are advised to carry something can be exposed to water and that they do not mind disposing of for the mud run event) . -
